Buying a wheelchair or scooter online is a big decision. Here is what we genuinely do differently — and why it matters when something goes wrong, not just when the courier arrives.

A UK Point of Contact Who Actually Knows Your Order

When you ring 0330 520 0720 or email info@comfygomobility.co.uk, a member of our UK team handles your call. They know the products, they have your order in front of them, and they are the same person who prepared and dispatched it from our Milton Keynes warehouse — not a generic call-handler in another time zone reading from a script.

Behind the scenes, our wider team sits across the UK, the EU, the US, and some other countries — eight years of mobility expertise built up across four continents. That depth means engineering decisions, parts sourcing, and product improvements happen quickly. But your first point of contact, the person who packs your chair, and the voice on the phone — that is UK.

What this looks like in practice: Most calls are answered within 60 seconds during 9–5 hours, Monday to Friday. If you leave a voicemail or email, you hear back the same working day — usually within a few hours.
2

30-Day Home Trial — More Generous Than the Law Requires

UK consumer law gives you 14 days to change your mind on a distance purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We voluntarily extend that to 30 full days.

That is more than four weeks to use the product at home, in your own routine, with your own family, on your own floors. If it is not right for you, we collect it and refund what you paid. No restocking fee, no inspection charge, no "are you sure?" obstacle course.

For full details — including how diminished-value deductions work and what is and is not covered — see our Return and Refund Policy.

3

HMRC-Compliant VAT Relief, Done Cleanly

If you are chronically sick or disabled, you can buy your wheelchair or qualifying mobility product completely free of VAT under HMRC Notice 701/7. That is a genuine 20% saving, recognised in UK tax law — not a discount we are giving you.

We have built the declaration process to take 90 seconds, with no medical proof required. Most declarations are approved on the next business day, after which your account is automatically zero-rated for current and future qualifying orders.

How it works: Submit a short declaration on our VAT Relief Declaration page. We review the next business day. Future orders apply VAT relief automatically — you only declare once.

Read more on our VAT Relief guide, including the rules for spare parts, mobility scooters, and repair services.

UK Warranty With UK-Stocked Parts

Our warranty is not a piece of paper — it is a service. 3 years on every frame in our range — aluminium and carbon fibre — and 1 year on motors, batteries, and electronics, plus full coverage for hard, textile, and safety accessories. Most replacement parts ship from our UK service centre, where we hold stock of the most commonly-needed components. For specialist parts we may ship from our EU warehouse or directly from the manufacturer — we will always tell you up front where your part is coming from and a realistic timeframe.

Where the fault can be solved by a slot-in part — a charger, a joystick, a controller, an armrest, a footplate, a battery — we post it to you with clear instructions and live phone help. If you would rather we collected the whole product and fixed it ourselves, just ask. Either way the cost is on us.

And if a fault means a longer repair, we will discuss whether we can lend you a temporary unit. Read the full detail in our Warranty Policy.

No Pressure to Buy — Genuinely

You will not get a sales call the day after you visit our website. You will not be put on a "drip campaign" of urgency emails. You will not be told the price is going up tomorrow. Our job is to help you make the right decision — including the decision not to buy from us if a different product suits you better.

Most consultations end with a clearer picture, not a closed sale. Our team is paid to help, not to hit a quota. If we genuinely think a product is not right for you, we will say so.

Try us: Book a free 30-minute video consultation — no payment, no commitment, no follow-up sales call unless you want one.

Eight Years of Global Engineering, Now in the UK

The UK arm of ComfyGO Mobility is new. The engineering behind the products is not. Since 2017 we have delivered more than 30,000 mobility products to families across the United States, Canada, the EU, and Switzerland — with our own in-house engineers, long-term manufacturing partners, and continuous product improvement based on real customer feedback.

Every product we sell is independently certified to UK and European safety standards, and our lithium-ion batteries hold UN 38.3 transit certification. Read more about our heritage and worldwide network on our About Us page.

Honest, Plain-English Policies — and We Stand By Them

Our policies are written in plain English. No legal jargon designed to wear you down. No hidden clauses. No "subject to terms" footnotes. We tell you upfront what we will pay for, what you will pay for, what is and is not covered, and what happens when something goes wrong.

We comply fully with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, and the Equality Act 2010. Where the law gives you stronger rights than our policy, the law wins — every time.
