This page explains how customer reviews work on comfygomobility.co.uk — where they come from, how we check them, when a reviewer received any reward, and what we do and don't allow.

We've published this page because we want you to trust the reviews you read here, and because UK and EU consumer law expects this kind of transparency from retailers. If you have any concerns about a review on our site, please contact us at info@comfygomobility.co.uk.

At a glance: every review tells you where it came from

Every review on our product pages carries a small badge showing how it reached our site. Before reading the detail below, the most important thing to know is this: you don't have to take our word for any of it. Each review shows its origin on the review itself — the country it was collected in, whether it was imported from another store, and whether the reviewer received any reward.

The badges you may see include:

  • Review collected via store invitation — we emailed the customer asking for feedback after their purchase.
  • Review collected from another provider — the review was originally posted on our US or EU site, or imported from a third-party marketplace such as Amazon or eBay, and has been imported here.
  • Review from a store visitor — submitted directly on the product page; not linked to a confirmed order.
  • Collected by a verified review provider — collected by an independent platform such as Google or Shop App.
  • Review earned a reward for future purchase — the reviewer received a small thank-you accessory (see Part 2).

A review can carry more than one badge — for example, an imported review that was also rewarded will show both "Review collected from another provider" and "Review earned a reward for future purchase".

Part 1 — How we collect reviews

Where our reviews come from

Reviews on this site come from two places:

  • UK reviews — left by customers who purchased from ComfyGO Ltd (UK).
  • Imported reviews — left by customers of our US store (comfygomobility.com), our EU store (comfygomobility.eu), or third-party marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay, for the same product models.

Why we import reviews: ComfyGO Ltd is a new branch — we recently opened in the UK — so we don't yet have many UK reviews of our own. Rather than show product pages with little or no feedback, we import reviews from our US and EU stores and from marketplaces where the same product models have been sold for longer. The products are the same models, with small adaptations for local requirements such as UK-specification chargers.

As our UK customer base grows, the proportion of UK reviews will grow with it. Imported reviews are always labelled, and the country of origin is shown on the review itself.

Reviews are collected and managed for us by Judge.me, an independent reviews platform. You can read their authenticity policy at judge.me/authenticity.

How we verify reviews

Where a review can be matched to an order in our system, Judge.me adds a "Verified Buyer" badge. This means we have confirmed that the reviewer purchased the product they are reviewing.

Reviews without a Verified Buyer badge may still be genuine — for example, a customer who bought from a reseller, who purchased through a third-party marketplace, or a friend or family member of the user — but we cannot independently confirm a purchase.

What we do to keep reviews honest

In addition to Judge.me's checks, we:

  • Investigate any review flagged to us, normally within 15 working days.
  • Remove reviews that breach this policy and recalculate the product's overall rating.
  • Do not hide, filter out, or down-rank negative reviews. A genuine, relevant, lawful review is published whether it's one star or five.

Part 2 — Our position on rewarded reviews

What "rewarded" means

A rewarded review is one where the reviewer received something of value — a gift, a discount, a free sample, points, or any other benefit — in connection with leaving a review. UK and EU law allow rewarded reviews provided the reward is clearly disclosed. Hidden rewards are not allowed.

What we do in the UK

ComfyGO Ltd (UK) does not run any review-reward programme. UK customers receive nothing — no gift, no discount, no entry to a prize draw, no points — in exchange for leaving a review. If you have left or will leave a review of a product purchased from comfygomobility.co.uk, you have done so without reward.

What our group companies do

Since 2023, our US affiliate ComfyGO Inc. and our EU affiliate COMFYGO MANAGEMENT B.V. have run a "Free Accessory" promotion for customers who had previously purchased a ComfyGO mobility product. Under that promotion:

  • Customers who left a review on our website may email to request a free accessory worth up to US$25 (around £20).
  • Eligible accessories include a phone holder, cup holder, headlight & charger, or side bag.
  • Reviewers are not told what to write and are free to share whatever reflects their experience.
  • The promotion is open only to customers who have already purchased a ComfyGO product, with one entry per household. It is not open to ComfyGO employees, their families, or anyone living in their household.
  • Reviews left on third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart are not eligible for the promotion. This means imported marketplace reviews shown on this site are not rewarded reviews.
  • Customers are normally responsible for shipping costs for the accessory, although our US team occasionally covers shipping at their discretion.

The promotion is not running in the UK and we have no plans to introduce it here.

Reviews collected under the promotion that appear on this site — including any future reviews imported from the US or EU — are labelled "Review earned a reward for future purchase" so you can identify them. Where such a review is also imported, it will additionally show "Review collected from another provider".

How we identified which reviews were rewarded

Where reviews on this site were collected under our US or EU affiliate's accessory programme, we have labelled them. We did this by cross-referencing our review database against records of every free accessory order — these are recorded as £0/$0 orders tagged in our order system — and matching reviewers either by email, or by name and review date, to customers who received an accessory.

We have retained this matching record. If we identify further reviews that should be labelled, we will label them.

Part 3 — What we don't allow

We prohibit, and will remove from our site if found, any of the following:

  • Fake reviews — reviews that do not reflect a genuine customer experience.
  • Reviews written by us, our staff, our agents, our suppliers, or anyone with a financial interest in ComfyGO, posing as customers.
  • Concealed rewarded reviews — reviews that received a reward but are not labelled.
  • Paid review submissions — reviews bought from a third party.
  • Scripted reviews — reviews where someone has been told what to write or given required wording.
  • Misleading reviews about competitors — reviews intended to harm other businesses rather than describe a genuine ComfyGO experience.
  • Coordinated review activity designed to inflate or distort our overall ratings.

We do not selectively remove negative reviews. We do not edit the substance of reviews — Judge.me allows us to correct typographical errors, but star ratings cannot be edited and reviewers are notified of any change to their text.

Part 4 — How the overall star rating is calculated

The overall star rating shown for each product is calculated from all published reviews on its product page. This includes UK reviews, imported reviews from our US and EU stores, reviews from third-party marketplaces, and reviews labelled as rewarded.

On product pages, we may also show reviews of other ComfyGO products under a separate "Reviews for other products" section. These help customers get a feel for the brand but are not included in the product's star rating, and each review clearly shows which product it is about.

As of 7 May 2026, around 180 of the approximately 800 reviews on our site — about 22% — are labelled as rewarded. Each review's badges remain visible so you can see the makeup of the rating for yourself.

Part 5 — How we use the reviews you submit

When a customer submits a review through our site:

  • The review is published on the relevant product page, with the customer's first name and the first letter of their surname (for example, "Steve S.") — we never publish full names.
  • We may also reuse the review on our homepage, social media, marketing emails, and advertising.
  • We don't publish the customer's email address.
  • Customers can ask us to remove or edit their review at any time by emailing info@comfygomobility.co.uk.
  • Reviews are usually published within 1–3 working days, after a quick check for personal information or off-topic content.

Part 6 — Reporting a problem

If you believe a review on our site is fake, mis-labelled, or breaches this policy, please email info@comfygomobility.co.uk with the product name and as much detail as you can. We will investigate. If the review breaches this policy, we will remove it and update the overall rating accordingly.

Part 7 — How this policy is reviewed

We review this policy at least once a year, and whenever there is a material change in how we collect, display, or reward reviews. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page changes each time the policy is updated.

ComfyGO Ltd is a separate legal entity from ComfyGO Inc. (US) and COMFYGO MANAGEMENT B.V. (EU). Each entity is responsible for compliance with the consumer protection laws applicable to its own customers.
