Mobile Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you receive text messages from ComfyGO Mobility.
Last updated: 9 May 2026
1. Introduction
The ComfyGO Mobility text-message service (the "Service") is operated by ComfyGO Ltd (trading as ComfyGO Mobility) — "we", "us", or "our". By signing up, you agree to these Mobile Terms of Service ("Mobile Terms"), which form part of our main Terms of Service.
We may update or end the Service, or change these Mobile Terms, at any time to the extent the law allows. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect counts as acceptance of the change.
2. What we send and your consent
By giving us your mobile number and ticking the consent box (online or in person), you agree to receive recurring text messages from us, or sent on our behalf, to that number. These may include:
- Service messages — order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates, account alerts, and similar transactional messages.
- Marketing messages — promotions, special offers, abandoned-basket reminders, and other marketing content. We send these only with your prior consent, as required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
Messages may be sent using automated systems. Signing up is completely voluntary — you do not need to consent to receive marketing texts in order to buy from us, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase.
3. Costs
We do not charge you for the Service. However, you are responsible for any text-message or data charges your mobile network operator may apply when you receive or reply to our messages. Message frequency varies. Please check your mobile tariff with your network operator if you are unsure.
4. Opting out
You can stop receiving messages at any time. Reply STOP to any text we send, or click the unsubscribe link in the message where one is provided. We will send a single confirmation message and then stop. If you have signed up to more than one of our text-message programmes, you may need to opt out of each one separately.
For help, reply HELP to any text we send, or contact us at info@comfygomobility.co.uk.
Opting out of marketing texts does not stop transactional messages relating to an order you have already placed (for example, dispatch and delivery notifications).
5. Changes to numbers and short codes
We may change the short code, sender ID, or phone number we use to send messages at any time, and will tell you where reasonably possible. Messages — including STOP or HELP requests — sent to a number or short code we no longer use may not reach us, and we cannot be responsible for honouring them.
Mobile network operators carrying our messages are not liable for delayed or undelivered texts. You agree to give us a valid mobile number, and to sign up again with your new number if your existing number changes.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected text messages, for errors in messages, or for any action you do or do not take in reliance on a text we have sent. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected, and the limits set out in Section 14 of our main Terms of Service apply equally here — we do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law.
7. Privacy and your rights
We process your mobile number and message-related data in line with our Privacy Policy, the UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018. The lawful basis for marketing texts is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as set out in Section 4 above.
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk · 0303 123 1113), the UK's data-protection regulator.
8. Governing law
These Mobile Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with the same regional carve-outs for Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland that are set out in Sections 17 and 18 of our main Terms of Service.
