Try a Wheelchair or Scooter in Your Own Home
Our mobility advisor brings the right model to your home, shows you how to use it, and answers your questions in person — free, no pressure, no obligation to buy.
A note about coverage
We currently offer in-person home demos across most of England, with our mobility advisors based around our Milton Keynes warehouse. Coverage varies by week and by demand — please fill in the form anyway. If we can't reach you in person, we'll suggest a free virtual demo over Zoom or WhatsApp, or talk you through our 30-day home trial, both of which work anywhere in the UK.
You won't be turned away just because of your postcode — we'll find a way to help you decide with confidence.
Request Your Free Home Demo
Fill in the form below — takes about 60 seconds. We'll call you within 1–2 working days to confirm your needs and arrange a convenient time.
How the Home Demo Works
From the moment you submit the form to the day of your visit, here's exactly what to expect.
- You fill in the form (60 seconds) Tell us your name, postcode, and which products you'd like to see. Most people complete the form in under a minute.
- We call you within 1–2 working days Our team rings to confirm your needs, talk through which models would suit you best, and check whether we can reach your area. If we can't, we'll suggest a virtual demo or talk you through the 30-day trial — no one is left without options.
- We schedule a convenient time Pick a day and time that works for you. Family members, carers, or occupational therapists are welcome to be there. Weekend visits are sometimes possible by arrangement.
- Our mobility advisor brings the products to you On the day, we arrive with the models you wanted to see, plus any alternatives we think might suit. We'll demonstrate the chair, help you test it indoors and outside, and answer all your questions.
- You decide in your own time There's no pressure to buy on the day. You can take time to think, talk to family, or arrange another visit if you'd like to test more models. When you're ready, we'll guide you through ordering — or simply thank you for your time and leave.
What Happens at the Visit
A typical visit takes 30–60 minutes. Here's what we'll cover:
- Doorway and corridor checks — we'll measure your hallways and door frames so you know the chair fits
- Car boot fit — if portability matters, we'll test how the chair folds and lifts into your car
- Seat comfort and posture — sit in the chair, adjust the seat, and see how it feels for the kind of journeys you actually take
- Hands-on driving practice — try the joystick, practice turning, and build confidence in a familiar space
- Battery and charging walkthrough — we'll show you how to charge, where to store, and how to get the most out of your battery
- Honest model comparisons — if you're between two chairs, we'll bring both where possible and help you compare side-by-side
- Questions answered, no rush — bring your list of questions, however small. We'd rather you ask now than wonder later
If We Can't Reach Your Area
In-person home demos depend on where our mobility advisors can travel. If your postcode is outside our regular coverage, we still have two great alternatives — both free, both with no obligation.
Free Virtual Demo
A mobility advisor shows you the chair over Zoom, WhatsApp, or FaceTime. About 30 minutes, available anywhere in the UK, fits around your schedule.

How the Trial Works →Home Demo FAQs
Common questions before you book a visit.
Is the home demo really free?
Yes — completely free. No fee, no deposit, no hidden charges. We don't ask for payment details to book the visit. Even if you decide not to buy after the demo, you owe us nothing. We genuinely believe a no-pressure visit is the best way to help you choose the right chair.
How long does a home demo take?
Usually 30 to 60 minutes, but we take as long as you need. Some visits are quick if you've already narrowed down your choice. Others take longer if you're comparing several models or want family or a carer to be involved. We don't rush.
Can family members or my carer be there?
Absolutely — and we strongly encourage it. Most of our customers benefit from having an adult child, partner, carer, or occupational therapist present. They'll often spot things the user wouldn't (lifting weight, doorway clearances, ease of transport), and it's a much better experience when everyone involved hears the same answers at the same time.
Will the mobility advisor bring more than one chair?
Where possible, yes. If you've shortlisted two or three models, we'll do our best to bring them all so you can compare side-by-side. Occasionally larger or mobility advisor models can't all fit in one visit — in that case we'll discuss with you on the call which one or two are best to start with.
What if I'm not sure which chair I want?
That's exactly what the demo is for. When we call to confirm your appointment, we'll ask about your needs (mobility, lifting, car boot, daily use) and recommend a couple of chairs that look like a good fit. If you'd rather have a wider conversation first, our Wheelchair Buying Guide walks through the key questions, or you can book a free phone consultation instead.
Is there any obligation to buy on the day?
None whatsoever. Most of our customers don't decide on the day, and we don't pressure them to. Take the chair you tested for a walk, talk to family, sleep on it. When you're ready to order — whether that's that evening, a week later, or a month later — we're here. If a chair isn't right for you, we'd much rather you walk away than buy and regret it.
What areas do you cover?
Our mobility advisors are based in Milton Keynes and travel across most of England — particularly the Midlands, the South East, London, and East Anglia. We sometimes travel further for specific cases. Coverage varies week to week based on our team's schedule.
Please fill in the form even if you're unsure — we'll confirm coverage on the call. If we can't reach you in person, we'll arrange a free virtual demo or talk you through the 30-day home trial.
Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?
Most appointments are during weekday office hours (9am to 5pm), but we can occasionally offer evening or Saturday slots by arrangement. Mention your preferred times in the form and we'll do our best to accommodate.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We aim to call within 1–2 working days of receiving your form. From there, the soonest available appointment is usually within 1–2 weeks, depending on your area and our mobility advisor's diary. Urgent cases can sometimes be accommodated faster — if you're working to a tight deadline, please mention this in the notes.
I'm housebound — can the mobility advisor still come?
Yes, that's exactly the kind of customer the home demo is designed for. Many of our visits are with people who can't easily travel to a showroom. The mobility advisor will come to you, work around your physical needs, and take their lead from you on what's comfortable.
