X-1 SE Manual Wheelchair

After having a purchase of this same chair fall thru after a 6 week wait and no updates...I was gun shy of ordering...but so happy I did.
I called the company and talked with Mark.....knowledgeable and helpful to say the least.
Ordered the chair and had 4 follow up emails from Eric to confirm our goofy street address.
I thank you both for helping with this purchase and give your company 5 stars for customer service alone!

This is the best chair we have owned.

Easy to use big tires all black sweet

We bought this for a trip to San Diego with my dad who has Parkinsons. It was unbelievably perfect for the trip. This is a comfortable wheelchair. That rolls and handles all kinds of terrain. It looks nice, it rolls. Nice, it sits comfortably. Equally is important, for the person, pushing the wheelchair, it glides with ease. My 82-year-old. Mom was able to push my dad around with no problems at all. Highly recommend this wheelchair.

Easy to fold and unfold. I don't need to be in the wheelchair full time, so the hand controls at the back are helpful when I can walk and they give me some stability and control walking up or down slopes.

Not as comfortable as we hoped.

Replaced a wheel bearing in about a year but otherwise my mother loves it. I suspect there was no grease in the bearings which seems normal for bearings these days.

I am disabled and wanted a nice looking wheelchair. It works great.

COMFY GO is the perfect name for this wheelchair. I am a tall person, so I love the adjustable foot rests to accomodate different terrains. Also, with the fold down handles it provides more room to move my upper body around. My husband finds it very easy to transfer in and out of our SUV

I am still getting used to using my new WheelChair received a lot of compliments. The wheelchair was easy to transport and takes up very little space. the only problem the sides rim where your hands go is very easy to damage. I'm getting silicone covers to put on them maybe that will help.

I was very impressed with the quality of this chair. The wheels were amazingly built for multiple types of terrain. The many options of positioning, armrests, folding back rest and so many more impressive features. The only downsides to me were the weight of the chair. It would fall at the top of the Lightweight folding chairs but the weight is due to the durability!
Id also like to acknowledge how wonderful the company has been with informative and quick responses. I would highly recommend commend this company and the wheelchair listed here.

My stepmother loved the chair. It was lightweight and she was able to maneuver it so much easier. She felt like she was special because it was red and had flowers on the wheel center. She called it her hot rod. Unfortunately she passed away. I gifted it to someone with CP on oxygen and she was amazed at how much more freedom she had just being able to move her wheelchair more and not having such a heavy piece of equipment holding her back. Thank you.

I've researched every website I could find. I tried Costco, Amazon and direct sales. Finding a wheelchair dealership is impossible so you're on your own to make the best decision possible which I promise is a difficult task and decision process.

Warranty is everything. The seller is the next most important thing to consider. In my case, I trusted both Amazon and Costco foremost (both have excellent return policies). With Amazon you do need to watch for third-party sellers and look for return shipping costs and/or restocking fees in case you find a chair that isn't ideal and need to return it.

Most wheelchairs come from China. That can be an issue for quality control. Thus, carefully inspect the chair before using it and photograph everything upon receipt of the chair.

Weight of the chair is also a big decision maker. A good solid manual chair needs to weigh a bit (28-40 lbs) for those that need a long-term chair or will use it daily...

A lightweight chair is excellent for short-haul use. It can store in the trunk of most cars and be picked up with ease. However, lightweight chairs are limited in comfort or frequent daily use. Lightweight chairs are excellent to get you to/from markets, shopping, dining out and appointments only.

I found I needed one of each. Two chairs. One for comfort and one for quick and easy mobility and storage into a cars trunk.

So, after countless weeks/months of research, along comes a chair called 'COMFY GO'. It's sold by Amazon (and others) but hard to find in the Amazon search mode because it is poorly marked as a lightweight chair in the search headline.

There are two models. The X-1 is by far the better of the two with larger rear wheels and a few extra comfort perks.

The pros of the COMFY GO chair are the rear 24" wheels. The handbrakes for the user (great access) and the caregiver handbrakes on top as well. Next, this chair folds back and both armrests retract so that you can get out of it with ease. Plus, the X1 has anti-tipper rear wheels included/added. The seat width is 17.5" so not so great for a overweight adult but fine for most adults.

The velco attached cushion is way too thin so you'll need to purchase a optional cushion for comfort.

The armrests are almost solid plastic and this chair would have been great with better and more comfortable armrests. Also, missing is a larger side storage area (there is a storage bag on the back but try getting to it if body movement is restricted). There is no cup holder for beverages or your cell phone.

A major plus to this company selling this chair is just how fast they ship it. No so-called processing times. It goes out same or next day via ground transport (they do use FED EX which is problematic often).

I have a severe nerve , vertigo

Wat een comfortabele stoel. Ik zal een
half jaartje niet kunnen stappen na een verkeersongeval. De transportstoel doe ik kon huren via het ziekenfonds was zo deprimerend dat ik dacht, moet beter kunnen! Deze stoel is zoveel beter, hij is bij de duurdere van zijn categorie maar dat is het helemaal waard als je kijkt naar comfort en kwaliteit. Het enige minpuntje vind ik dat hij wat laag zit voor mij. Door een gebroken pols moet ik mijn goeie been ook inzetten als ik mij in huis zelfstandig verplaatsen. Maar als mijn lieve man mij duwt heb ik daar geen last van natuurlijk.
Super snelle en vriendelijke levering door firma zelf. Met nodige uitleg en de verpakking werd meegenomen.

Real comfortable wheelchair

Its been a long process of finding a good wheelchair. I do a bit of traveling on airplanes and cars, so I wanted to make sure whatever chair I chose could fold down. Not only does this chair do a great job folding down, but its also comfy and durable. I really like how this and rugged the tires are, and the seating pads are a nice addition! My partner had a very quick and easy time folding this chair up at the bottom of the airport ramp.
I wanted to customize my wheelchair, and this has nice wide panels on the side for stickers or whatever you want to decorate it with. however, it does not have an area to attach a cup holder or anything if thats important to you. 10/10 would recommend this chair, especially for traveling.

This is very sturdy for how light and portable it is. Super easy to fold and unfold. You do have to take the cushions off every time, but it could also be used without the cushions. This wheelchair has allowed me to take my friend out of the nursing home and drive him around town! If it's laying down in the back of my Toyota Corolla hatchback if I put the back seats down, and it fits perfectly in a Honda CRV. Great purchase.

I am 6'2" so if you are that tall or taller I do not suggest getting this model. I barely fit my legs in and it is not that comfortable to use. Other than that it is a decent wheelchair.

Love how light weight it is to push a 200lb man in even in the grass. Would be best if the legs adjusted high or low. Otherwise I highly recommend it
