  • Sub-50 dB brushless motors — whisper-quiet performance that won't disrupt others in lifts, waiting rooms, shops or at home.

  • Carbon fibre throughout — frame and rims — heaviest piece just 12.3 kg, folds into most hatchback boots without tools. Genuinely lighter to lift, carry and store than aluminium alternatives.

Is This Right for Me?

Not sure if this chair fits your needs?
Start here.

If you want a compact electric wheelchair that feels lighter, quieter and more capable than anything you have tried before, the Phoenix Carbon Fibre is built for exactly that. It suits active daily users who need confident, comfortable performance at home, on pavements, in shops and on longer journeys — without compromise.

✅ A good fit if you:

  • Mix indoors and outdoors — smooth manoeuvring at home and steady, confident driving on pavements and firm paths
  • Prioritise seating comfort — Upgraded cushions and backrests helps you relax on longer sits or rest breaks
  • Need a portable wheelchair for the car boot — compact fold; heaviest piece just 12.3 kg, suits most hatchback boots
  • Prefer confident, intuitive control — detachable all-direction LCD joystick with headlight and USB charger; clear for both users and caregivers
  • Value stability and safety — intelligent electromagnetic braking and Class 2 invalid carriage speed of 4 mph for reassured daily use
  • Want exceptional, dependable range — up to 13.5 miles on a single 12Ah battery, or up to 27 miles with the dual-battery option**
  • Travel by air or sea — the 12Ah (288Wh) battery is travel approved by most airlines and cruise lines for worry-free journeys

⚠️ May not be ideal if you:

  • Regular off-road use (deep mud or rough tracks) — the Phoenix electric wheelchair is built for pavements, indoor floors, and everyday outdoor paths like firm grass, gravel, and bricks.
  • Cannot lift 12.3 kg — the heaviest section may require a helper or a boot hoist for independent loading
  • Require complex clinical positioning — this folding powerchair is not a specialist tilt-in-space or rehabilitation wheelchair; please consult your therapist if specialist seating is needed

If you’re unsure, our team will help you decide before you order.
* Range varies with user weight, terrain, temperature and driving style.
** Battery acceptance rules vary by airline/cruise operator—always confirm before travel.

Exactly What I Needed

I came to the Abilities Expo in Ft Lauderdale for the express purpose to solve a problem and Comfy go came to the rescue.
I already have a "lightweight" chair that I've been using for several years. In the last 6 months I've fallen 3 times lifting in or out of my vehicle. 50lbs just wasn't lightweight enough.
After many laps through the expo hall I found Comfygo. The staff were delightful and led me to this ultra lightweight chair.
It is perfect, lightweight but still very powerful and stable. It is exactly what I needed.
Saved me about 70k, I didn't have to buy an accessible vehicle.
Thanks guys, you were great.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

I purchased the Carbon Fiber lightweight chair because my husband had a stroke 3 years ago, and he is paralyzed on the right side. We had a vacation plan to the Caribbean, and the other wheelchair we purchased was too heavy for me to handle. I called this company, and from my first communication with Israel, I immediately noticed their fantastic customer service. Israel was invaluable in helping me identify my husband's needs and my own personal struggles with other wheelchairs. I needed a lightweight chair to lift and put in the back of my car without breaking my back. When you have to take the wheelchair in/out of your vehicle several times a day, having something that weighs 27 lbs was the answer to all my worries. My husband loves this chair. During our trip, driving through airports and taking walking tours, the chair performed amazingly and offered worry-free driving hours with the two lithium batteries. He drove the chair straight to the plane's door and then transferred to the aisle chair provided by the airline to get to his seat. This chair is perfect for traveling!! Once he was seated, I folded the chair, took the two batteries and the joystick, and brought them with me inside the plane to avoid damage. The airline employee then tagged the chair, took it down to the plane storage, and brought it back to us after landing. The chair is very easy to maneuver and easy to put together. I highly recommend this Carbon Fiber Electric wheelchair. It has been a lifesaver, giving my husband some independence and freedom to move on his own, and for me, it saved my back!! Thank you Comfygo!

GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION.

I've only had the ComfyGO Phoenix carbon fibre powerchair for a short time, but I'm really impressed so far. It's lightweight, easy to fold and transport, and very comfortable to use. The controls are simple, and it feels smooth and sturdy when driving. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Perfect wheelchair for me

Perfect, comfortable wheelchair for me. Its lightweight is especially appealing. Easy to fold and to lift in car.

Gives me freedom to be on my own

The lightweight frame is a game-changer for me. I can actually lift this in and out of the car which has given me back some personal freedom and I am not so dependent on my husband if I want to go out. I also like that it is quite underway - my previous electric chair had a pretty loud motor. Seat is very comfortable as well and I like that the material is water resistant instead of fabric. Feels like this is going to hold up much better given the carbon fiber structure compared with chairs that are mainly plastic.

Glad it's airline approved. It will be easy to use to get around without depending on someone to push me in a wheelchair. I have been renting a scooter so this will save me money and I will have my own wheelchair.

Comfortable ride

Just received my chair today. It is very comfortable to sit in and gives a very smooth ride! I've used many different mobility products and this one is top notch!

Very comfortable!

Bought my new Phoenix ComfyGo mobility chair a week ago. So far, am very pleased. The joy stick takes some practice in tighter areas, like into an elevator. Also doesn’t do well on slopes steeper than 6 degrees. But it’s very comfortable sitting, and I think will meet my needs on fairly flat surfaces. Also very light lifting in and out of car.

A Game Changer

Since getting my ComfyGo chair, I’ve experienced increased independence at home. My regular wheelchair is too big to comfortably move throughout my home but this chair allows me to do all the things I need to do on a daily basis without having to ask for help from others. It’s a very smooth ride as well, which is definitely a plus!

PERFECT for my needs

I bought this. Chair a couple of weeks ago. I got it, so I could visit my daughters and sight see. The chair is very “lightweight “and my wife is able to get it in and out of the car. Now, I just have to get used to all of the Idiosyncrasies

Added Mobility

I needed a wheelchair that extends my mobility range. This chair has helped me accomplish that new range. The batteries hold the charge far longer than I imagined. I love my Comfy go Phoenix.

perfect for me

This is going to be the perfect chair to take to church, stores and anywhere else. I am looking forward to running everywhere. Light enough that I can pick it up and the long range means i dont have to worry about taking the charger or getting stuck.

Exactly what I needed!

I’m a 33-year-old Colombian, weighing 187 pounds. I cannot walk independently due to a stroke. I prefer light, powerful wheelchairs because I often need to lift and store them in a car trunk, as I travel to and from work and university every day. Having used a wheelchair for almost 18 years, I’ve tried my fair share of lightweight models, and this one has surprised me greatly with its smoothness and maneuverability.

After comparing this model with other lightweight options, it was clearly my top choice—especially for its battery range and comfort, which outperformed the alternatives. I used it on my return flight to Colombia and had no trouble taking it on the airplane.

A great lightweight wheelchair

I recently bought the Phoenix because I need assistance in walking longer distances. Big box stores became impossible for me to walk to my CIDP disease.

I have ridden it around the neighborhood a few times and also went to Costco with it. It handled both jobs well and barely used any of the batteries' capacity.

The two batteries give you so much distance that I'm confident I will have much more than enough for anything I will be doing. At my current rate I will only need to charge every week or two.

It is also easier than other wheelchairs to load into a vehicle since it is so lightweight. I'm sure I will get better at loading and unloading it as time goes on. I looked at a few other chairs that were 45 to 50 lbs and I would really hate to have to load something that heavy regularly. I'm sure I would throw my back out doing that.

I am very happy with the purchase and look forward to many years of use with it.

Best Wheelchair I’ve Owned

I have had my share of wheelchairs since the age of 13. Now I’m in my 50s and finally this is what I truly need. Most of the wheelchairs I’ve owned are too heavy for my husband to be able to lift out of the back of our vehicle. This one is just right. It is as lightweight as they come, and no more lifting heavy batteries anymore either. It turns on a dime and can be set to go quite fast. I’m so glad we purchased it and will be able to go more places together..

Light as a feather!(well almost)

This ComfyGo Phoenix has made taking care of my 90 year old/250 pound Father so much easier. Getting it in an out of the back our are Accent is now easy, which saves my back. Plus moving it around in the back it seems like it Really only weighs a feather compared to his previous so called light weight chair. Plus the quality construction and ease of use was so obvious right from the start. If you want a chair that is simple to take on the go you have found it. It is worth the cost!

Awesome for Airline and Conferences

I bought this chair in May and am at a conference for work now. I used to use a scooter. This is SO much better. Why?
1. It fit in the closet at the entrance to the plane. No gate checking, no damage.
2. I can easily roll up to tables for lunch, to get coffee, talk with vendors. It is easy to raise the controller arm to rest on table edge so I could eat comfortably and at a normal height. My scooter always had me sitting too high.
3. I can maneuver in elevators, crowded hallways and tight conference rooms.
4. One battery lasted all day with lots of back and forth at the conference.
5. I could take a regular taxi at airport…no wheelchair van required.
6. It handled some limited movement on grass at the after party just fine.

Great Chair

Overall, this is a really great chair. We love the extreme light weight. My petite wife has no trouble loadkng it in the van by herself. I like the many features like the easy folding, removable controller, charging port on the controller, phone charging port on the controller, and the remote controller. It even has a headlight, horn, and beeper for backing. So why the 4 rating and not a 5? No product is perfect and without constructive feedback, the company can't improve. The biggest downside are the instructions warning against frequent speed changes that may damage the controller or motors. This is a significant inconvenience. I try and keep the chair at the maximum speed setting. But the controller is sensitive and controlling the speed when making tight maneuvers or in situations with crowds of people such as stores or restaurants can be hazardous. Changing to a slower speed is essential. The knob on top of the controller comes off very easily. Everytime the chair is loaded in the van, care must be taken that the knob hasn't come off and lost. The batteries take 6 hours to fully charge from complete deletion. They can only be charged separately so that then becomes a 12-hour charging time for the two batteries with a necessary manual change from one to the other. The battery switch is more complicated than it needs to be. Move the switch to the left to use or charge the right battery. Move the switch to the right to use or charge the left battery. Why? This switching should be automated. Finally, when traveling on a plane, a protective cover is absolutely essential. So much so that it should come with the chair. Yet there is a backorder on the cover with no information on its availability.

Great travel chair

We just purchased the Phoenix model for my husband, Scott, who has MS. We upgraded from a manual wheelchair to an electric because I’m unable to push his manual chair very far. We love to travel and walk . Now, my husband will be able to enjoy travel and being with me when I walk on vacation. The chair is lightweight and compact enough that I can fold it and put it in the backseat of my car. It’s great for the airport too as he can use it all the way to the gate and then gate check it. We no longer have to wait for an agent to be able to push.
